Questions - Good Photo Cards

I have just started this adventure with using a blog to share my cards. I am having problems taking pictures that look great. I look at other blogs and the cards look so good. I can see the detail on them. What are your tips and tricks for taking great pictures of your cards. I have tried different angels, no flash.
